Slides from the Chiefs of Cardiac Surgery and Data
Managers Meeting on October 5, 2005 have been included here
in PDF format.
A Cardiac Surgery Data Manager's Meeting is scheduled
for December 6, 2005, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm at Southcoast Hospital Group
- Charlton Hospital in Fall River. Further information will be sent
prior to the meeting.
A meeting is being scheduled tentatively for February
1, 2006 for the Cardiac Surgery and PCI Data Managers. Sharon-Lise
Normand, Director of Mass-DAC will give a class on Understanding
the Statistics Used in the Mass-DAC Reports. Further information
will be sent prior to the meeting.
Eleven Cardiac Surgery Data Managers participated
in the poster session at the STS meetings in Chicago in September.
Their poster "Perioperative Myocardial Infarction: STS Reporting
Impacts Hospital Standards of Care" was also presented during
the meetings.
